Neil Cross
When Neil recommends a Workstation, it’s guaranteed to deliver. And Neil will be recommending your Workstation through The Workstation Studio.
Neil has been supporting, managing, training and implementing Autodesk solutions for over two decades. He has been a Certified Professional for over 10 years, a Senior Applications Engineer for a Platinum Autodesk Partner as well as various contracted consulting roles for Autodesk direct. He is an award winning member of the exclusive invitation-only Autodesk Expert Elite program, a Pluralsight Author for Autodesk products along with having delivered a significant class at Autodesk University Las Vegas based on Workstations and hardware for 3D CAD.
Since 2014, Neil has become renowned and respected on a global scale within the Autodesk space, by way of his Autodesk-focused YouTube channel known as TFI, recently rebranded to Tech3D. Originally a dedicated tutorial channel for Autodesk Inventor, TFI evolved as Neil began to appreciate the disconnect between hardware and software. In time, Tech3D became a thriving source of technology reviews along with industry insights into emerging technologies such as VR, always with a touch of relevance to the Autodesk customer. Neil now owns a grand total of 5 Virtual Reality systems, it’s an expensive endeaveour!
It was through extensively testing Workstations for journalistic review content, that Neil became an expert in and exceptionally familiar with the Workstation requirements of Autodesk software. More recently, Neil has developed his own extraordinarily accurate and powerful hardware benchmarking solution to validate the capabilities of todays Workstations.
There are few people out there who have more experience and knowledge pairing Autodesk software with the appropriate hardware than Neil. He’ll not name names, but even some Autodesk’ers have previously asked him for a specification on which Workstation they should buy!
